Travel grants

The PAMM group offers a limited number of travel grants to young investigators, which are defined as graduate students and first year post-doctoral fellows.

The application procedure is as follows:

All travel grant applicants should register and submit their abstract to the conference web site by November 30, which is also the deadline to apply for a travel grant.

In parallel, the applicant should send the following information to the PAMM treasurer, Dr. Annette LARSEN at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it 1) conference abstract; 2) CV; 3) An official letter from the advisor confirming the eligibility of the candidate for the travel grant; 4) a budget.

The response will be provided by e-mail by December 15, 2009 at the latest.

Additional information:

• All travel grant awardees are expected to attend the entire conference and to present their results as requested by the organizers.
• Reimbursements will only be provided after the meeting upon submission of original receipts.
• The travel grants serve as an aid to facilitate the attendance of young scientist and are unlikely to cover all expenses.
